A payment reminder app for business should send reminders on a schedule without you having to remember each one, include the invoice number, amount and due date, keep a dated record of every attempt, and let you escalate when reminders are ignored. FundRaksha Trust's soft follow-up does this by scheduled reminder calls and emails within the hours you choose, and you can move to a hard follow-up or a legal notice from the same app.
What a good payment reminder app does
- Runs on a schedule. Reminders go out on time even on busy days.
- Uses more than one channel. A call is harder to ignore than a message; an email leaves a written record.
- Carries the details. Invoice number, amount, due date and how to pay.
- Respects calling hours. Reminders only within the hours you set.
- Records every attempt. Calls answered or missed, emails sent, and the next attempt.
- Escalates. A path to firmer follow-up and a legal notice when reminders do not work.
- Knows what is due. A receivables list with ageing tells you whom to remind first.
How reminders work in FundRaksha Trust
- Add the details: the buyer's name, mobile number, amount due and invoice. Email and documents are optional.
- Choose your hours: pick the calling hours. For a hard follow-up, also pick how often to call.
- Review: our team checks the request, and it starts once approved. If it cannot be taken up, your points are refunded automatically.
- Track: see every call and email in the app, and pause or resume at any time.
Each mobile number becomes its own follow-up. See payment follow-ups for details and pricing for the current rates.
To decide whom to remind, use Receivables in the app or web app: invoices per buyer, credit limits, ageing buckets and a daily alert on newly overdue invoices.
How to word a payment reminder
Keep it short, polite and specific. A first reminder might read:
"Dear Sir/Madam, this is a reminder that invoice no. 1234 dated 1 October 2026 for ₹48,500 was due on 31 October 2026. Please arrange payment to our account in the name of ABC Traders, or let us know if there is any issue with the invoice. Thank you."
- Send the first reminder a few days before the due date, and the next soon after it.
- Ask whether there is a problem with the goods or the invoice. A dispute raised early is easier to settle.
- Stop new supplies on credit while an invoice is overdue.
- If you are a Udyam-registered micro or small enterprise, mention that interest under the MSMED Act applies to late payment. See credit terms for B2B sales.

Frequently asked questions
Which app is best for sending payment reminders to customers?
Choose one that sends reminders on a schedule by call and email, records every attempt and lets you escalate to a legal notice. FundRaksha Trust's soft follow-up does this, with a hard follow-up and legal notices in the same app.
Can I send payment reminders automatically?
Yes. In FundRaksha Trust you set up a follow-up once, with the buyer's details and calling hours, and the reminders run on schedule after our team reviews the request.
Are reminder calls made in my name?
Calls and emails go out from FundRaksha on your behalf, about your invoice. You see every attempt in the app.
How many reminders should I send before a legal notice?
There is no fixed number. Many businesses send two or three written reminders over two to four weeks after the due date, then a firmer follow-up, then a legal notice. Keep a record of each one.
Can I pause reminders once the buyer pays?
Yes. You can pause or resume any follow-up in one tap.
